Meet John and Monica Pulido. These two soccer stars met on the soccer field, dribbled their way to marriage, scored with 2 young children and won the ultimate championship!

This dynamic duo come with a wealth of soccer experience and are dedicating themselves to coaching young children how the game of soccer can impact their lives in a fun and safe environment.

Here is a little history of them.

John Pulido:
Coach John Pulido was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. As a child, he would sneak out to play soccer in the streets of Colombia. It wasn’t until John was 10 years old that he started playing organized soccer where his skills and athletic ability quickly became noticed. When he was 12 years old, he moved to Miami, FL. He attended American High School and led the team to a National Championship. He was top 10 high school's prospects recruit in the nation. He received a full scholarship to play at Florida International University where he was awarded MVP and a college All American. He was recruited to play professional soccer in Europe when he was only 18 years old. He decided to stay in college to finish his education and was later drafted by the MLS playing for Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas. After a few years in the MLS, he moved to Brazil where he played with famous Brazilian soccer players Romario and Zinho, and later finished his professional soccer career at FC Miami.

Monica Savage Pulido:
Monica was born and raised in South Florida. She started playing soccer when she was 5 years old. In 6th grade, she was recruited from her travel team and received a full scholarship to play Varsity Soccer for American Heritage School. She won the 1st State Championship of any sport at American Heritage, and went on to win 2 more state championship titles. She won most valuable defensive player while at Heritage. She received a full scholarship to play at Florida International University (2002-2004) and Nova Southeastern University (2004-2006) where she received MVP in 2005.
